It isn’t easy to make a first appointment with a therapist. Most people think about it for a long time, then think about it some more. But when there’s too much fighting, too little energy, too much worry, or loneliness, or disappointment, or just a feeling that something isn’t right, it can be a big relief to take that step and do something about it. Therapy can help you to feel better, to be more productive, and to have better relationships.
I work with people struggling with anxiety or depression, life changes, career challenges, or trauma. I work with people who are simply looking for growth, balance, or creativity. I practice both brief and long-term therapy, including psychoanalysis. In addition to working with individuals, I specialize in working with couples, including multicultural couples, LGBT couples, couples in blended families, and couples going through divorce. I have extensive experience working with adolescents and with anger management.
If you’re considering therapy and would like to learn more about it, or about me, please give me a call or send me an email. My office is located in Westwood Village, just across the street from UCLA (free two-hour parking nearby until 5pm).
I work both short-term, to help with specific problems or adjustments, or long-term, for people trying to change their lives. I work with individuals, but also specialize in working with couples, including multicultural couples, LGBT couples, couples in blended families, and couples going through divorce.
